Your shipment checklist.
Know your freight.
Record the commodity, pallet or package count, total packaged weight, and dimensions of each handling unit. Include the pallet in your measurements.
Confirm both locations.
Have complete pickup and delivery addresses, postal codes, business hours, and an on-site contact ready. Note whether each location has a loading dock or forklift.
Make special requirements clear.
Flag appointments, liftgates, limited access, residential delivery, and any unusual handling needs before requesting a quote.
Prepare for pickup.
Use suitable packaging, secure freight to pallets, and label each handling unit. Confirm the required shipping documents and ensure the freight is ready within the agreed pickup window.
